When he was written the song the title was one horse open sleigh but in 1860's the song was popular as the title Jingle Bell .
First of all this is not a Christmas song because there is no word of christmas. This song was based on winter season and christmas is also fall in winter. So people in America sung the song in joy. This song lyrics was also very melodious .
In 1943 Bling crosby and the andrew sister recorded the song and make the song popular among peaple. In 1965 jingle bell was the first song that broad cast in space.
